The Chimoio Distribution Centre is stocked and running (Services Northern Mozambique, managed by Sakkie van Zyl). The Matola DC (Services Southern Mozambique, managed by Thomas Markram) will be stocked in the coming weeks and we look forward to delivering on quicker product turnaround and customer support as we gear up for the summer season.
Mozambique continues to lead the way in new product registrations. Most significantly, the world’s first registration of the Bernard Blum Silver award winning bioinsecticide, Plutex® has been approved. Plutex® contains a highly target-specific granulovirus for the suppression of Diamondback Moth on Cruciferous crops. In addition, the new product registrations for Neemix® 45 and Nomu-Protec are the first to be registered in Africa.
The Andermatt customer base continues to grow quickly, with a renewed interest being expressed on biological solutions in row crops. Fully supporting growers across the length and breadth of Mozambique is challenging, but we look forward to growing our team in the months ahead, improving delivery and biosolution access for commercial and small scale growers.
